On January 26, 2008, 5 local young men lost their lives in a horrific automobile accident that took place on the private Greystone airstrip, inside Jumbolair Aviation Estates, an upscale residential community in the north Marion County community of Anthony, Fl.

Dustin J. Dawe, 19; Joshua D. Ammirato, 18;

Jacob James Casey, 19; James Devon Hime, 19;  and Isaac Rubin, 20 all attended high schools in Ocala, FL.

The Jacob Casey Foundation was established in 2008 by the Casey family soon after Jacob’s death.

Our Mission

To keep the memory of Jacob Casey alive by providing academic and athletic opportunities to students who do not have the resources necessary to experience the benefits of a quality education.  To invest in the future of our community by empowering our children to succeed and to remain focused on improving their lives, one child at a time.
